Children's Church - (Ages 2 - 11)

Sundays

Alice Yeager heads up a group of volunteers that meet with our children every Sunday morning during worship service.  Activites vary each week but are always centered around Christ. A light snack is also served.

The first Sunday of each month is extremely exciting for the kids.  Our Children's Church Choir has the chance to share their vocal talents with the adults at the beginning of morning worship.  Then the group heads upstairs for an hour or so of movies and/or games.

Wednesdays

Justin and Kristin Ward lead a service especially geared  towards the youth and their specific spiritual needs.

Bonnie Malone meets with the children for their own special service. There's always fun activities going on.  Skits, songs, games, stories... you never know WHAT'S going to be happening!

The adults aren't left out.  They meet in the fellowship hall for a time of Bible study. 

Our Men's Ministries meet the first Saturday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall and is open to all men 16 yrs and older.  Along with a time of devotion and fellowship, our men do a number of  projects during the year. 

In addition to taking care of needs within the church,  this group of men attend an annual Men's Retreat in September and host a community caroling and hayride each December. 

The ladies of Shepherd's Heart meet from 3:00 to 4:30 on the third Sunday of each month.  Each month our meetings have a different theme with a devotion, decorations, refreshments and door prizes related to that theme.

 Our women participate in two statewide events each year, one in the Spring and the Second in the Fall.  It is amazing how our WM's consistantly rise above other groups, including those from the large cities!  They are truly and outstanding assortment of women that love God and share it where ever they can.

The Youth Ministries meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00.  Services may include discussions, videos, or one of a host of other activities geared to our teens.   

Each year they participate in PCG's "Talent Expo".  We have had the honor of having several of our youth go as far as national competition in previous years. They have been working just as hard to prepare for this year's competition.

One Sunday a month we join the members of The Oaks Nursing Center for a wonderful time of song, fellowship, and preaching led by Director Nick Hess and Assistant Director Bobbie Pinnell.
